We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you register
• Meta Ads data: Campaign data, ad performance metrics, spend, audience data, and creative information — accessed via the Meta Marketing API with your explicit permission
• Usage data: How you use AdNexus, pages visited, features used, and time spent
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely via Razorpay — we do not store card numbers
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and operate the AdNexus platform and its features
• Display your Meta Ads data in your dashboard
• Generate AI-powered insights and reports based on your ad data
• Send important account and service-related notifications
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve our platform and fix technical issues
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Meta Ads Data

When you connect your Meta Ads account, we access your advertising data using Meta's official Marketing API. Specifically:

• We request read-only permissions — we never create, modify, or delete your ads
• Your Meta access token is encrypted and stored securely in our database
• We access your data only to display it to you within AdNexus
• We do not share your Meta Ads data with any third party
• You can disconnect your Meta account at any time from your AdNexus settings

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Razorpay (payments) — only as necessary to operate our service
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with advance notice to you

6. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security practices:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Meta access tokens encrypted at rest in our database
• Passwords hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Access to user data restricted to authorized personnel only

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Meta Ads performance data cached in our system is deleted within 7 days of account deletion.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Disconnect your Meta Ads account at any time
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of non-essential communications
